Last night was the start of holiday party season. I had promised my daughter Alison Leigh (creative genius, ultra marathon trail runner, bushwhacking long range hiker, perfectionist, plant eater, and the center of my universe) that I would do the last read through the site and prepare the final deficiency list. When I opened up the computer I had many very nice messages waiting for me about the website. I wondered if I had partied too hard.
And then….it dawned on me….she had hit the launch button!
She didn’t want the final list!
I have had the day to start breathing again.
And now … I will start what should have been the blog beginning …
Thank-you Alison Leigh.
This is a very special gift that you have given me. I wouldn’t have done, nor could have done, this site without you.
Thank-you Alison Leigh
You are quite the taskmaster. I think you have forced me do and re-do everything on the site two or three or ten times. Thank goodness!
Thank-you Alison Leigh
Working co-operatively has not been your strong suit. You have to agree that almost all of my suggestions, including: editing, work inclusions, and especially the request of changing the artist photo was followed by a simple, yet decisive, “no” or “do you have your glasses on?” from you.
Thank-you Alison Leigh
You are a nightmare to work with! I loved every minute, even though many of those minutes have been well after midnight my time. I love your work and you.
Thank-you daughter.
